Privacy Policy

Note: this policy is pending formal legal review for US (Florida), GDPR (EU), and UK GDPR compliance. It accurately describes how the platform works today; the wording may be refined after review.
Quran Interactive is operated by Noble Education Institute, Inc., a Florida corporation. Privacy questions: privacy@quraninteractive.com.
Quick summary
- We collect the minimum needed to deliver classes and nothing more.
- Children never get ads, never have their data sold, and are not behaviorally tracked — analytics and session replay are switched off inside the student portal.
- Class recordings are private to your family, your instructor, and our staff, and are permanently deleted 30 days after the class.
- Payments are handled by PayPal — we never see or store card numbers.
- You can export or delete all of your family's data anytime from your dashboard.
What we collect
- Parent account: name, email, phone number, country, and timezone — used for scheduling classes in your local time, class reminders, and support.
- Student profile: the student's name, age, gender, and chosen course. Student profiles are created and managed by the parent; children never enter payment or contact details.
- Learning records: class schedule, attendance, instructor progress notes, ratings you leave, and messages you exchange with your instructor or our support team.
- Payment status: your PayPal subscription status and payment history. Card and bank details stay with PayPal and never touch our systems.
Class recordings
- Classes with children are recorded by default as a child-safeguarding measure (see our child-safeguarding policy).
- Recordings are stored in private storage with no public link. They can only be watched through your signed-in dashboard, by the class's family, its instructor, and our staff — every playback request is permission-checked.
- Recordings are automatically and permanently deleted 30 days after the class, and immediately if you delete your account.
Children's privacy
- Accounts are created by parents; children use the platform under their parent's account.
- Analytics and session replay are disabled inside the student portal. We do not build behavioral profiles of children and never use children's data for advertising (COPPA).
- Instructors communicate with families only through the platform, where conversations are visible to our safeguarding processes.
Analytics & cookies
- Essential cookies keep you signed in (provided by Clerk, our authentication service).
- On public pages and the parent dashboard we use PostHog (hosted in the EU) and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Form inputs are masked so what you type is never captured, and we honor your browser's Do Not Track setting.
- No analytics run in the student portal or staff consoles.
Service providers
We use a small set of processors to run the service: Vercel (hosting & private file storage), Neon (database), Clerk (sign-in), PayPal (payments), Zoom (live classes & recording capture), Resend (transactional email), PostHog EU (product analytics), Google Analytics (site analytics), HubSpot EU (customer records), and Sentry (error monitoring). Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We never sell your data to anyone.
Your rights
- Export: download a complete copy of your family's data anytime from Dashboard → Privacy.
- Delete: delete your account and all associated data — including students, messages, progress records, and any stored recordings — from the same page. Deletion is permanent.
- EU/UK residents have GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection); California residents have CCPA rights. Exercising them is what the two buttons above do — or email us.
