Teaching Quran
Teaching Quran
For a Muslim to learn the Quran is a very big blessing and rewarding as well but for a Muslim teaching Quran is one of the most fortunate things they can ever do. Teaching Quran is a very important job and one must be completely prepared to take it upon themselves because doing it correctly will gain Allah’s pleasure and doing it incorrectly will gain His disapproval. A teacher of the Quran must hence be very particular and extremely trained in the tajweed of the Quran so as to teach it to those who desire.
Learning When Muslims start teaching Quran they must keep in mind the different target market that they are imparting the knowledge to and break up their curriculum accordingly. For children it is first natural to learn the pronunciation of each word first and when they are taught that and are fluent in it they should move to learning the translation. Teaching Quran hence involves both aspects; fluent recitation as well as a focus on teaching the meaning of the word of Allah. Quran is the book brought down upon the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and he was its first teacher. Imagine being in the position of the one who taught the Quran himself by doing so. Not only will the Muslim receive the award but will also be counted as one of Allah’s closest because they have imparted the knowledge of the book of Allah and allowed other Muslims to benefit from it and live life according to it. Teaching Quran is hence a very rewarding experience and all Muslims should give it a try once in their life.
