Learning to read Quran

Learning to read Quran is recommended at a very young age by Allah. This is because at the tender age of when a child is still young their brain is functioned to have more resilience, more strength and more power of memory. That is why most Muslim parents insist on their children learning to read Quran at a young age. Apart from how easy it is to learn to read the Quran, it also provides a number of benefits. Is there a better way to gain the rewards and blessings of Allah than to learning to read the Quran? Certainly not! Learning to read the Quran opens the minds of children, it broadens their perspective when they read the word of Allah and most of all they are provided with the guidance in the advice of Allah to lead their lives. All this with tremendous rewards and awards showered upon them by Allah. Isn’t it the most beautiful experience ever?

Learning to read the Quran is hence a blessing for all Muslims. We must not think of it as a burden or a favor that we are doing to Allah. But we must think of learning the Quran as a favour to ourselves by getting the complete book to follow to spend our lives. What greater joy is it that it is written by the One and Only, Allah and that He has his helping hand over us all the time. Nothing compares to that joy! So we must make learning the Quran our first and foremost priority and ingrain the same in our children.
